To the Cloud Machine, Winston!

Everybody Snow Dance!

We have a nighttime snowfall from the northwest combining with guilty administrators to the south. It’s the perfect storm. Actually, the perfect storm would snow only on the houses of the district admins. And it’d be a couple of feet deep. And it would be made of ice cream. But I can live with plain ole white snow. As long as it falls from the sky and impedes traffic.

I have a sneaking suspicion that if you don’t do your homework, the likelihood of a snow day increases. This would be the best Hanukkah present ever.

Azn Fail

They’re back. The ghosts. Now they’re in the science wing. During Physics on Friday, there was a constant moaning whistle coming from the back of the room. It was too high to be Ryan or Paul (who are known to sing in falsetto from time to time). Then there was the electric pencil sharpener that kept going for a couple of seconds after removal of the pencil. And there was the cabinet full of lab supplies that refused to open and had to be taken off its hinges.

baker had to rip the door off its hinges

It’s obvious someone or something doesn’t want up to learn rotational motion. Perhaps the ghosts of AP students past.

In other news, it should be noted that there’s a very common but virtually unknown phenomenon known as the “Azn Fail”.

Whenever Junyong or Peter or Neal or anyone else smart talks about “totally failing that test”, they’re referring to the “Azn Fail” or a B. (I’m an exception because I have been known to for-real fail (50%) certain calculus tests.) Cassidy entertained the idea of making a chem test that Junyong would Azn fail, but I warned him that making Junyong Azn fail a test will make everyone else “cracker fail”. ← Cassidy coined that one.
