5/5/13: Procedure: Partial disassembly and canned air dusting focusing on fan and heat pipe. Subsequent processor temperatures reading in 20-50C range.

Subjective
: CC of spontaneous syncope and absence seizures requiring resuscitation. Sleeps poorly and inconsistently.

Objective: No apparent distress

PE: Non-compromising crack at right posterior corner. Dust present. Keys and touchpad intact.
Gen: Responsive and alert, WD/WB (well-designed/well-built)
VS: Clock speed 2.2Ghz, HDD 320GB, RAM 4GB
Power supply intact
Screen: Hannstar, undamaged and luminous
Peripherals: USB Hub, VGA out to HSA monitor,

Assessment: 5 y/o MSI A6000 with intermittent freezes requiring hard restarts. Recent onset of spontaneous shutdowns

Potentially CPU Overheat issue, arrange canned air de-dust and cooling pad. Alternative: Winter use only.

Severe low-level software fault? OS reinstallation (Raring)

Motherboard component failure? Palliative care recommended. Donate parts.

Hard drive failure: Backup and transplant

Plan: Initiate cooling PRN and monitor temps q2h. Begin full-scale vital file backup immediately. Consider acquiring new desktop components. Or a tablet.
