It’s not exactly Dilbert or Cathy. More like A Beautiful Mind, but only after I’ve had my 8 cups of corporate coffee. Then I throw myself at medical journal articles like Cathy throws herself at a cake. I find myself never typing faster than when I am so, very close to somehow getting the proof/study design/guidelines I’m searching for. It’s got kind of a weird appeal on a primal level for me. The thrill of the hunt, the rush of victory. The tedium of writing up what I found in a drug info note. Just like the neanderthals of olde.

Just when I thought I was out of the woods with Bender. This happens.

What you’re seeing is the screen on the laptop being totally unresponsive, but functional video output via VGA cable to the monitor. My laptop just became a desktop. Which I don’t need, because I already have several desktops that I need to sell anyway.

I think I know what this means. I must, with a heavy heart, buy a tablet to regain mobile web capability. Here we go…
