The Finite

Chris Brown was the friend and later roommate of Tommy Tran during his time at Purdue University. Initially a Harrison Hall resident, he later signed a lease with Tommy when he, Tommy and Dylan moved off campus to an apartment.

Character history

Chris Brown (roommate) was not testing well with audiences and was written out of the series at the beginning of the 2012-2013 season due to the inability of the writers to come up with any worthwhile plotlines for him after his marriage to Melissa Bostic. Replacing him in the cast is David Wilson, an accounting major, intended as less of a counterpart for Tommy and Dylan and instead more of a foil who doesn’t share the “sciency-ness” of the original trio. David signs on as the new roommate at 320 Brown, taking over Chris’ lease and room. Casting took place in Spring of 2012 with classifieds in local papers.

There’s this old guy at work. Let’s call him “Dr. Elderly-Asian-Man-with-hit-or-miss-prostate”. I hate being in the bathroom at the same time as him because it always feels like I’m showing off how quickly I can pee. So I always slow it way down to make him feel better. And I have to do this multiple time a day because he’s always peeing. It’s exhausting.
